At the end of 2015, the UN member states, including Belgium, signed the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development. The Agenda consists of 17 SDGs or Sustainable Development Goals to make the world more sustainable, inclusive and fair by 2030.

CIFAL Flanders / UNITAR, the international training center of the United Nations that focuses on sustainable management, has entered into a partnership with VOKA to support companies in pursuing these objectives.

Hamann International Logistics has been participating in the Environmental Charter since 2008, and after 2016 has been converted into the Sustainable Business Charter (VCDO).
Since then, an additional recognition has been added: if you became a VCDO laureate 3 times within a period of 5 years, with 10 actions from the action plan being positively evaluated in at least 4 of the 5 Ps (People, Planet, Prosperity, Partnership and Peace), then you can also be awarded with the international certificate from the UN and UNITAR and you will be crowned a SDG Pioneer.

Hamann International Logistics has achieved the Sustainable Business Charter for the 12th time in a row, as well as the additional objective and is a Unitar SDG Pioneer laureate!

On 27/10/2020 we will receive our certificate on the Sustainable Business Day, as one of the 90 laureates.
