HAMANN INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS RECENTLY OPENED A NEW CROSSDOCK WAREHOUSE AT VANTEGEMSTRAAT IN WETTEREN. WITH THIS MOVE, HAMANN INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS RESPONDS TO THE STRONG INCREASE IN INTERNATIONAL GROUPAGE ACTIVITIES AND THE GROWING DEMAND FOR STORAGE AND HANDLING OF GOODS.

In 2023, construction began to expand the site at 3 Vantegemstraat in Wetteren across the industrial area. The brand-new crossdock warehouse is equipped with 34 loading docks and was put into operation in January.

Hamann International Logistics already had a crossdock or transshipment warehouse in Wetteren, where goods immediately depart for customers after arrival.  The new location allows for even better customer service and ensures shorter lead times.

The commissioning of the new location also meant an expansion of storage capacity. The former transshipment warehouse has been repurposed as a storage warehouse, enabling the company to meet the increased demand from customers for the storage and handling of goods.

In April, additional office space will be occupied at the Vantegem site, where construction on the current office building is still underway. This marks the final phase of a major expansion project for Hamann International Logistics.
