Covid-19 UPDATES

Monday May 25th

  • Bulgaria: the Bulgarian government has lifted the state of emergency in the country and announced an emergency epidemic, which will be in force from 14 May to 14 June. The government has also suspended driving and rest time restrictions. Since 30 March the border crossing with Greece “Zlatograd – Thermes” has been closed until further notice. The checkpoints set up at the town of Bansko and all the regional centres have been abolished. Freight transport is not restricted, but delays are to be expected.
  • Spain: after all non-vital companies in Spain have been closed for two weeks, the Spanish government has announced that strict lockdown measures will be relaxed. Most of the country is now in “phase 1” of lockdown relaxation, which means more shopkeepers will reopen. Barcelona and Madrid are currently the only two regions in “phase 0.5” because they have been hit hardest. Only smaller stores are allowed to reopen there. All Spanish quarantines have been lifted and pick-ups and deliveries will be possible again once the businesses are open. It is expected that Spain will sound the alarm in the coming days, but a distinction will be made between the regions, because the situation is not the same throughout the country. Relaxations of driving and rest periods have also been adopted and are valid until 31 May.

Friday May 22nd

Czech Republic: since Monday, 30 March, quarantine in the Czech cities has ended and pick-ups and/or deliveries are possible again. The state of emergency in the Czech Republic officially ended on 17 May. All driving restrictions are back in force. All transports to and from the Czech Republic are again possible with some expected delays at the borders, as the smaller border crossings are closed. Health checks are being carried out.

Thursday May 14th

  • Germany: the German government has announced that it will open the borders to Austria, Switzerland, France and Luxembourg from 16 May. The same has been announced for the border with Denmark, but the date has yet to be agreed. All border crossings will be operational again. Checks will be limited to spot checks at the borders with Austria, Switzerland and France. With Luxembourg, controls will be abolished altogether. Driving times and rest periods will be abolished until 17 May. In addition, Sunday driving bans on lorries have been lifted in order to support the further flow of goods. These have generally been extended until 1 June.
  • Poland: the government of Poland has declared a state of emergency and closed the borders to all foreign travellers. Border controls were officially extended until 12 June. Poland extended the adjustments to driving times and rest periods until 31 May.

Wednesday May 13th

Czech Republic: since Monday 30 March the quarantine in the Czech cities has ended and deliveries are again possible.  The Czech government has extended the state of emergency in the country until May 17th. The suspension of driving times and rest periods has been extended accordingly.

Therefore, all transports to and from the Czech Republic are again possible with some delay because the smaller border crossings are closed and health checks are being carried out:

Tuesday May 12th

  • Lithuania: Lithuania has extended its blockade until 31 May. Only health checks are carried out for drivers at the borders, which may lead to delays in entering Lithuania. The open border points have been reduced to the following: Kalvarijos-Budzisko, Saločių-Grenstalės, Būtingės-Rucavos, Smėlynės-Medumės, Medininkų- Kamenyj Logo, Raigardo-Privalkos, Kybartų-Černyševskojės, Panemunės-Sovetsko, Kenos-Gudagojo, Šalčininkų-Benekainių, Mockavos-Trakiškių, Lazdijų-Ogrodnikų, Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga.
  • Turkey: the Turkish government has announced a new lockdown of 4 days in 15 villages from Friday, May 15 at midnight until Tuesday, May 19 until midnight. The villages in question are: Ankara, Balıkesir, Bursa, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, İstanbul, İzmir, Kayseri, Kocaeli, Konya, Manisa, Sakarya, Samsun, Van and Zonguldak.

Monday May 11th

Spain: after all non-vital companies in Spain have been closed for two weeks, the Spanish government has announced that to relax strict lockdown measures. People in industry, construction and some services may return to work, but must adhere to strict safety guidelines.

The delays in the Spanish domestic networks are still valid, as many customers have adjusted their opening hours.

All Spanish quarantines have been lifted and pick-ups and deliveries are possible again when the companies are open. The Spanish government has announced that the state of alert in the country will be extended until 24 May, and border controls will be extended accordingly. Rest and driving times have also been laid down and are valid until 31 May.

Friday May 8th

  • Germany: the German Government has announced the closure of the border with Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Luxembourg and France. These measures have been extended until 15 May. It was stressed that this closure will not apply to freight transport. In addition, the Sunday driving bans on lorries have been lifted in order to support the further flow of goods. These have generally been extended until 1 June.
  • Slovakia: since the announcement by the Slovak government on Friday 27 March to close all borders with neighbouring countries, the situation has been relaxed and traffic is running smoothly. Random health checks at the border are still carried out. In addition, drivers still need to be equipped with protective equipment. The Slovak government has decided to close all shops, bars, restaurants etc.. Do not send consignments related to the above mentioned companies to Slovakia. In addition, check with your customers that the consignments are accepted by the addressees, otherwise do not send them to Slovakia. It has also been announced that the planned driving bans have been lifted before May 10. Border controls have been extended until 27 May, with the following border points open:

  • Bulgaria: relaxation measures. Since 7 May 2020, the Bulgarian authorities have relaxed some measures. In particular:
  1. At the border, no more instruction notes are issued to drivers transiting through Bulgaria, this reducing waiting times at the borders.
  2. Special checkpoints at all entry gates of the city of Bansko and the regional city centres of Blagoevgrad, Burgas, Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Vidin, Vratsa, Gabrovo, Dobrich, Kardzhali, Kyustendil, Lovech, Montana, Pazardzhik, Pernik, Pleven, Plovdiv, Razgrad, Ruse, Silistra, Sliven, Smolyan, Sofia, Stara Zagora, Targovishte, Haskovo, Shumen and Yambol, were abolished so there are no more waiting times at the city borders.

Tuesday May 5th

  • Germany: the German Government has announced the closure of the border with Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Luxembourg and France. These measures have been extended until 15 May. It was stressed that this closure will not apply to freight transport.

Monday May 4th

  • France: as far as the French domestic distribution networks are concerned, we have reports that most of our network partners in France will drastically reduce their capacity. Deliveries, advice or fixed dates on the same day cannot currently be offered anymore. The capacity reduction of the French networks will lead to delays. We advise you to check with your customers as a matter of urgency whether the addressees still accept shipments and if not, not to send them to France.
  • Ireland: Ireland has extended the suspension of driving and rest periods until 31 May. The Irish government has announced a lockdown in the country.  The specific circumstances include travelling to and from work for essential work that cannot be done from home. These restrictions have been extended until 18 May.

  • Italy: the situation is starting to get more and more relaxed after the government has now announced that most industries will be allowed to reopen in their “Phase 2” plan on 4 May. The information regarding the industries that will reopen on May 4 can be found in our update of Friday April 28th.
  • Portugal: The Portuguese government has decided to extend the state of emergency until May 17. Public traffic has generally stopped at the Portuguese borders, which is not the case for freight transport. However, only the main border crossings with Spain remain open: Quintanilha, Tui, Vilar Formoso, Elvas, Castro Marim, Vila Verde de Raia (Chaves), Monfortinho (Castelo Branco), Marvão (Portalegre) and Vila Verde de Ficalho (Beja). These measures have been extended until 14 May. The Portuguese Government has now officially ended quarantine in the Ovar region. Pickups and deliveries are possible again. This applies to the following postal codes: 3880-000 & 3885-999.
  • Spain: after all non-vital farms in Spain have been closed for two weeks, the Spanish government has announced that it will relax strict lockdown measures. People in industry, construction and some services may return to work, but must adhere to strict security guidelines.

Thursday April 30th

  • Czech Republic: since Monday, 30 March, quarantine in the Czech cities has ended and deliveries are possible again. Tuesday April 28th

  • Italy: the situation remains critical. The government has decided to close down all “non-vital” industries and companies, these measures have been extended by the government until 3 May. The government has now announced that most industries may reopen on 4 May in their “Phase 2” plan. As previously announced, more details on the specific industries that will be reopened can be found here.

Monday April 27th

  • Bulgaria: the Government has announced that it will suspend driving bans on lorries over 12 tonnes between 17 April and 17 May. People’s freedom of movement is restricted for essential activities. Freight transport is not restricted, but delays are to be expected.
  • Italy: The situation remains critical. The government has decided to close down all “non-vital” industries and companies, these measures have been extended by the government until 3 May. The government has now announced that most industries may reopen on 4 May in their “Phase 2” plan.  More information on the specific industries will be communicated to you later.

Friday April 24th

  • Lithuania: Lithuania has extended its blockade until 11 May. Only health checks are carried out for the drivers at the borders, which may lead to delays in entering Lithuania. Since 16 April, smaller shops are allowed to reopen.  The open border points have been reduced to the following: Kalvarijos-Budzisko, Saločių-Grenstalės, Būtingės-Rucavos, Smėlynės-Medumės, Medininkų- Kamenyj Logo, Raigardo-Privalkos, Kybartų-Černyševskojės, Panemunės-Sovetsko, Kenos-Gudagojo, Šalčininkų-Benekainių, Mockavos-Trakiškių, Lazdijų-Ogrodnikų, Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga.
  • The Netherlands: the Dutch government has also closed down public spaces, without any restrictions on transports, these measures have been prolonged until May 20th. At the moment no delays are reported. The government has also decided to suspend the driving and resting times until June 1st.
  • United Kingdom:  the UK Government has decided to lift restrictions on driving time and rest periods and, in addition, has decided to suspend all issues relating to road user tolls in London until further notice. These measures have been extended until May 31st, the exact measures can be found here. This includes the Congestion Charge and the ULEZ in London and the LEZ in Greater London. On 16 April, the UK government extended the lockdown in the country for another three weeks. The UK government also announced that the logistics sector is considered essential and will therefore not be closed.

Friday April 17th

  • France: by decision of the French Government, the lockdown measures in the country are extended until 11 May. People are only allowed to leave their homes with the exception of shopping, doctor’s visits and going to work. Our French organization has moved most of its staff to Homeoffice, the service to our branches and customers is secured. As far as the French domestic distribution networks are concerned, we have reports that most of our network partners in France will drastically reduce their capacity. Deliveries, advice or fixed dates on the same day can no longer be offered. The capacity reduction of the French networks will lead to delays. We advise you to check with your customers as a matter of urgency whether the addressees are still accepting shipments and if not, DO NOT send them to our branches in France. It has also been announced that Amazon in France will close at least this week. Further updates about next week will be distributed as soon as possible. Therefore DO NOT send shipments to Amazon in France to our branches.
  • Germany: the German Government has announced the closure of the border with Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Luxembourg and France. These measures have been extended until 3 May. It was stressed that this closure will not apply to freight transport. Driving times and rest periods have been abolished until 17 May. In addition, the Sunday driving bans on lorries have been lifted in order to support the further flow of goods. Delays from the Czech Republic to Germany have so far been eliminated and no delays have been reported.
  • Lithuania: Lithuania has extended quarantine until 27 April.  The open border points have been reduced to the following: Kalvarijos-Budzisko, Saločių-Grenstalės, Būtingės-Rucavos, Smėlynės-Medumės, Medininkų- Kamenyj Logo, Raigardo-Privalkos, Kybartų-Černyševskojės, Panemunės-Sovetsko, Kenos-Gudagojo, Šalčininkų-Benekainių, Mockavos-Trakiškių, Lazdijų-Ogrodnikų, Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga.
  • Poland: the government of Poland has declared a state of emergency and closed the borders to all foreign travellers. Contrary to yesterday’s information, the quarantine does not apply if a Polish driver enters Poland in his capacity as a lorry driver and will not have to go into a 14-day quarantine if he does not show any symptoms of illness.  Poland has extended the adjustments to the driving and rest periods until 31 May.
  • United Kingdom:  the UK Government has decided to lift restrictions on driving time and rest periods and, in addition, has decided to suspend all issues relating to road user tolls in London until further notice. These measures have been extended until 21 April, the exact measures can be found here. This includes the Congestion Charge and the ULEZ in London and the LEZ in Greater London. On 16 April, the UK government extended the lockdown in the country for another three weeks. The UK government also announced that the logistics sector is considered essential and will therefore not be closed.

Thursday April 16th

  • France: according to the decision taken by the French President last night, the country will be completely closed for the next 15 days. As far as the French domestic distribution networks are concerned, we have reports that most of our network partners in France will drastically reduce their capacity. Deliveries, advice or fixed dates on the same day can no longer be offered. The capacity reduction of the French networks will lead to delays. We advise you to check with your customers as a matter of urgency whether the addressees are still accepting shipments and if not, DO NOT send them to our branches in France. France has also lifted restrictions on driving and rest times. The French government has also issued a decree that signatures are no longer required for B2C deliveries and will therefore be suspended until further notice. It has also been announced that Amazon will close in France at least this week. Further updates for next week will be distributed as soon as possible. Please do NOT send shipments to Amazon in France to our offices.
  • Germany: the German Government has announced the closure of the border with Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Luxembourg and France. These measures have been extended until 3 May. It was stressed that this closure will not apply to freight transport. In addition, the Sunday driving bans on lorries have been lifted in order to support the further flow of goods. At present, there are delays in arriving in Germany from the Czech Republic due to excessive checks by the Czech authorities. Traffic jams are currently more than 12 km long.
  • Ireland: in order to reduce the risk of contamination, the ferry company Seatruck Ferries temporarily stops shipping.  Accompanied road transport (complete truck combinations with driver) is then stopped until further notice, but the company continues to transport unaccompanied trailers, containers and swap bodies. In addition, our Irish colleagues have informed us that, due to recent developments, their customers are no longer willing to receive paper. Therefore, paperwork will no longer be handled in Ireland from now on and other solutions for compulsory proof of delivery will be used. This has no impact on other services or on the flow of goods. Ireland has extended the suspension of driving times and rest periods until 31 May. The Irish Government has announced a lockdown in the country, which will require people to stay at home except in specific circumstances. The specific circumstances include travelling to and from work for essential work that cannot be done from home. These restrictions have been extended until 5 May.   • Portugal: the Portuguese government has decided to extend the state of emergency until May 14th.

Monday April 6th

  • Lithuania: Lithuania has extended the quarantine until April 13th. Lithuanian drivers must go into a 14-day quarantine when returning to the country but are allowed to leave if they have to perform another transport. For the drivers at the borders, there are only health checks conducted, which might lead to delays when entering to Lithuania. The traffic jams at the border to Poland have been cleared for now and traffic is running smoothly. The open border points have been reduced to the following: Kalvarijos–Budzisko, Saločių–Grenstalės, Būtingės–Rucavos, Smėlynės–Medumės, Medininkų– Kamenyj Logo, Raigardo–Privalkos, Kybartų–Černyševskojės, Panemunės–Sovetsko, Kenos– Gudagojo, Šalčininkų–Benekainių, Mockavos-Trakiškių, Lazdijų–Ogrodnikų, Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga.
  • Portugal: public transport has generally stopped at the Portuguese borders, which is not the case for freight transport. However, only the main border crossings with Spain remain open: Quintanilha, Tui, Vilar Formoso, Elvas, Castro Marim, Vila Verde de Raia (Chaves), Monfortinho (Castelo Branco), Marvão (Portalegre) and Vila Verde de Ficalho (Beja). We have now received confirmed information that Portugal has declared quarantine for the area of Ovar. This affects the following zones: PT 3880-000 & PT 3885-999. In this area there are no more withdrawals and deliveries, with the exception of vital supplies such as food, medicines and gas.

Friday April 3th

  • Czech Republic: as of Monday, March 30th, there are no more cities in quarantine and deliveries are possible again, taking into account delays at borders due to health checks. If a Czech driver shows symptoms, he will be taken to a hospital and quarantined. Foreign drivers with symptoms are not allowed in the country. Driving and resting times are no longer applicable for at least 30 days.

Thursday April 2nd

More and more countries have introduced lock-down measures, keeping open only vital businesses such as grocery stores, pharmacies and other retailers that are important for supplying the population. Because of this situation, we would like to stress once again that shipments to these countries should not be sent to addressees who are clearly closed.

Wednesday April 1st

  • Belgium: border with the Netherlands, transport of goods remains possible, even with vans. No documents are required for this.
  • Croatia: the 14-day quarantine for people arriving in Croatia is lifted for drivers. There are also relaxed driving and rest times until April 16, 2020 for the transportation of essential goods (food distribution, animal feed, fuels, raw materials, medicines and medical equipment, distribution of goods to hospitals and other public institutions).
  • Slovenia: drivers are tested at the border and are allowed to pass if their temperature is below 37.5 ° C and they show no symptoms. Drivers must also carry gloves, mouth mask and disinfectant gel.
    The following borders are open:
    – Border with Italy: Vrtojba (24h / 24h), Fernetiči (24h / 24h), Škofije (24h / 24h) and Krvavi Potok (5h-23h).

    – Border with Croatia: Gruškovje, Obrezje and Starod. Only through Obrezje are there currently convoys coming from Italy.
    – Border with Hungary: Dolga vas and Pince.
  • Romania: Romanian drivers of vehicles with goods above 2.4 tonnes must be guarantined for 14 days when returning to Romania.
    They can choose from the options below:
    – Quarantine in areas provided by the employer.
    – Seclusion at home with all persons with whom they live, or alone, in another available living space.
    – Quarantine on request, in the spaces made available by the government, with support for the expenses related to the quarantine.

Tuesday March 31st

  • Czech Republic: since Monday 30th March the quarantine in the Czech cities has ended and deliveries are possible again. Therefore, all transports to and from the Czech Republic are again possible with some delay at the borders, as the smaller border crossings are closed and health checks are carried out.
  • Ireland: Businesses are no longer willing to receive paper due to recent developments.  Therefore, paperwork will no longer be handled in Ireland and other solutions for compulsory proof of delivery will be used. This has no impact on other services or on the flow of goods. Ireland has lifted the driving and resting ban until 16 April. The Irish government has announced a lockdown in the country, which will require people to stay at home, except in specific circumstances. The specific circumstances include travelling to and from work for essential work that cannot be done from home. Essential work is listed as follows:
  • Health and social care
  • Public service and civil service
  • Utilities such as electricity, gas and water
  • Necessary goods, i.e. food and medicine
  • Financial Services
  • Transport Communication including journalists
  • Agriculture Therefore, the focus will now be on essential goods and only deliver other goods if the consignee is open and there is still some capacity on the trucks.
  • United Kingdom: The UK Government has decided to suspend restrictions on driving time and rest periods. The UK Government has declared a nationwide lockdown for three weeks. The UK Government has also announced that the logistics sector is considered essential and will therefore not be closed.

Monday March 30th

  • Estonia: as of last Saturday the Estonian government announced a lockdown in the country and decided to close all shops in the country, except the supermarkets and pharmacies. Border controls are carried out by the authorities, but no delays are reported.
  • Ireland: in order to reduce the risk of contamination, the ferry company Seatruck Ferries temporarily stops shipping. Accompanied road transport (complete truck combinations with driver) is then discontinued until further notice, but the company continues to transport unaccompanied trailers, containers and swap bodies.
  • Poland: the government of Poland has declared a state of emergency and closed the borders to all foreign travellers. The quarantine does not apply if a Polish driver enters Poland in his capacity as a lorry driver and he will not have to go into a 14-day quarantine if he shows no symptoms of illness.
  • Slovakia: national and international movement of goods is allowed. Drivers are required to wear mouth masks and gloves and to use disinfectant gel. Slovak drivers are obliged to go into quarantine when returning to Slovakia by car. However, when doing international transport, they do not have to go into quarantine provided they stay indoors when returning to Slovakia.
  • Spain: stricter measures prohibiting non-essential activities were adopted on 29 March. It does not cover the transport of goods. Nevertheless, we advise you to check in advance whether you can still load or unload at your destination.
  • France: according to the decision taken by the French president last night, the country will be completely closed for the next 15 days.  This closure does not apply to freight transport. Please check again with your customer whether the consignee in France can accept the shipment and otherwise choose NOT to send the shipment to France.
  • Lithuania: Lithuania is in quarantine and foreigners are not allowed to enter, which is not the case for truck drivers. The drivers are only subject to health checks, which may lead to delays in entering Lithuania. The traffic jams at the border with Poland have been cleared for the time being and traffic is running smoothly.
  • The Netherlands: the Dutch government has also closed the public area, without any restrictions on transport. At the moment, no delays are reported.
  • Portugal: public transport has generally stopped at the Portuguese borders, which is not the case for freight transport. However, only the main border crossings with Spain remain open: Quintanilha, Tui, Vilar Formoso, Elvas, Castro Marim, Vila Verde de Raia (Chaves), Monfortinho (Castelo Branco), Marvão (Portalegre) and Vila Verde de Ficalho (Beja).
  • Switzerland: Switzerland has adopted stricter measures. However, these have no impact on the transport of goods.
  • Finland: the Finnish authorities have closed the Uusimaa region to prevent the spread of the virus.  Freight transport is still permitted.

Thursday March 26th 2020

  • Bulgaria: has closed its borders to people coming from areas at risk. There are special restrictions for truck drivers. In general, there is a 14-day quarantine regime, which does not apply to foreign drivers if they leave Bulgaria immediately after unloading in Bulgaria or if they are in transit within 24 hours.
  • Czech Republic: PC 7 in this area no more pick-ups or deliveries are possible.  All other transports to and from the Czech Republic are still possible with some delay at the borders, as the smaller border crossings are closed and health checks are carried out.
  • Germany: the German government has announced to close the border with Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Luxembourg and France, starting Monday 08:00. It was stressed that this closure will not apply to freight transport. In addition, the Sunday driving bans on lorries have been lifted in order to support the further flow of goods.
  • Ireland: only unaccompanied lorries can be transferred by ferry companies.  Ireland lifted the driving and rest bans until 16 April.
  • Italy: the situation remains critical. The government has decided to close down all “non-vital” industries and businesses. There is an interim period for companies to complete their current processes until today, so please check again with your customers to see if they can receive shipments as of today.
  • Portugal: PC 3880-000 tem 3885-999, in this area no pick-ups and deliveries are possible anymore, except for vital supplies such as food, medicines and gas.
  • Slovakia: the Slovak government has also closed the border with their neighboring countries. They have announced that national and international freight transport, including transit, is still possible.
  • Spain: Collections and deliveries are no longer possible in the following areas: ES08 – ES10 – ES30 – ES43.  As a result of the decision of the Spanish government, we expect a further deterioration of the situation as the situation progresses. There is also a possibility that the government will introduce further restrictions in the country as the situation develops.  Therefore, please check again with your customers whether they will be able to receive shipments as of today.

Friday March 20th 2020

  • Italy: carriage of goods is still allowed, but drivers may enter Italian territory for a maximum of 72 hours.  The security measures in force still need to be respected.

Thursday March 19th 2020

  • Portugal: PC 3880-000 up to and including PC 3885-999 in quarantine, no collections and deliveries possible.
  • France: problems of access to the port of Calais & Eurotunnel.  Since this morning it has been particularly busy in the direction of the French ports.  The N216 is saturated and a traffic jam of 2 km has arisen on the A16 in the direction of Dunkirk/Calais.  The junction no. 47 Calais is closed in both directions.  The entrances to the Eurotunnel are saturated in both directions.

Wednesday March 18th 2020

Austria:

  • Border with Hungary is closed, also for freight transport. With the exception of the transition in Hegyeshalom, expect long waiting times.
  • Border checks at Italy with medical examination for drivers
  • Driving bans lifted until March 19
  • More flexible driving and rest times until April 14th

Belgium:

  • Flexible driving and rest times until March 31st

Croatia:

  • Transit through Croatia is allowed

France:

  • No restrictions on freight transport

Germany:

  • Temporary border control at Austria, Switzerland, France, Luxembourg & Denmark
  • Freight transport is possible for a valid reason (consignment note)
  • Bavaria, Nordrhein Westfalen, Sachsen and Niedersachsen have suspended weekend driving bans for transportation of medical goods and food with long shelf life

Ireland:

  • Ferry companies do not transfer manned freight, only truck without drivers

Italy:

  • No restrictions on freight transport, but there is a need to prove the journey (bill of lading) and drivers should have masks and gloves

Poland:

  • Medical checks at the borders. Drivers need a certificate with additional information
  • Certain borders are closed

Spain:

  • No restrictions on freight transport
  • Driving bans lifted until 28/3
  • More flexible driving and rest times for transport through risk zones

Hungary:

  • Hungary – Slovenia border is closed
  • Transit is still possible
  • 1 border open between Hungary – Austria = Hegyeshalom. Take waiting times into account

Tuesday March 17th 2020

  • France: in lockdown.
  • Spain: It was decided yesterday that more areas in Spain will be completely closed by government, which means that no pick-ups or deliveries will be possible in these areas.

The regions affected by this development are the following:

  • ES08 = Catalonia
  • ES10 = Arroyo de la Luz
  • ES30 = Cartagena, San Pedro, San Javier, Los Alcázares, La Unión, Mazarrón y Águilas
  • Switzerland: The Federal Council has decided to introduce border controls with Germany, Austria and France from midnight and to impose entry bans, albeit with exceptions.
  • Ireland: Ferry companies no longer transfer manned freight (driver and truck).
  • Czech Republic: PC 7 under total lockdown, no more collections or deliveries possible.
  • Slovakia: The Slovak government has also closed the border to their neighboring countries. They have announced that national and international freight transport, including transit, is still possible. In addition, drivers will have to be equipped with protective equipment. Random health checks are carried out at the border.
