Corona Denmark: companies demand Covid certificate
(26 November 2021)
The Danish Parliament has passed a new law giving employers the right to require employees to show a Covid certificate or to be tested for Covid-19 and to disclose the results. This law enters into force from today 26 November 2021 and is valid for at least one month.
From now on, a company may also require a Covid certificate from visitors. For truck drivers, this means that they can be asked to present either a recovery certificate, a full vaccination certificate or a negative Covid-19 test. A negative test is valid for 48 hours for antigen tests and 72 hours for PCR tests.
It is advised to contact your Danish loading or unloading point to find out if they require a Covid certificate.
