On the 6th of September, Hamann International Logistics nv opens a new branch in 's-Hertogenbosch, Holland, hereby expanding her services package and network.

Since the 15th of March latest, all our “National Distribution (BIDI) trucks” are equipped with Symbol MC5590 board computers.
These PDA’s send real-time data about deliveries and collections of goods, pallets exchange, damages …etc., to our back office in Wetteren/Belgium.
The goods information, as well as the online communication between drivers and dispatching office, is on the fly accessible for our operational people in the TMS-software package (Transport Mgmt System). This means a big step forward, not only for the internal follow up of Hamann’s shipments, but also for the service towards our customers.
Besides a lot off in-house development by its own ICT-department, Hamann went for the IMS software solution from the company Tradecom in Zwalm/Belgium.
